Completely surrounded by imposing walls, the city could preserve its medieval atmosphere. Its location is spectacular: the Adriatic Sea until immediately before their doors urges with the Bay of Kotor, the longest fjord in southern Europe, on the one hand, on the other hand the dark mountain of Lovcen piles up abruptly. We visit the cathedral Sv. Trifun and the Maritime Museum. Then journey to our booked hotel in Budva or Petrovac. Dinner and overnight

2. Day: Budva - Sveti Stefan - Petrovac

Today we start with a city walk in Budva, which is located on a small peninsula and was ruled by the Venetians and the Habsburgs. Today it presents herself in a beautiful new look. Then we take a relaxing boat ride to the island of St. Nicholas. Relaxed we move to a photo stop near the island Sveti Stefan, then visit of the monastery Reszevici where monks produce cold pressed olive oil for centuries. The former fishing village Petrovac on a beautiful red sand beach is next on the agenda. In the evening return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight

We leave our hotel on the coast, one of the most spectacular roads of the country offer views to the mountains of Montenegro. Old Embassy buildings still tell stories of a country which once was the poorest Kingdom of Europe. The visit of the famous monastery is also on the agenda as the National Museum. Here we can see one of the oldest Icons of Montenegro. Then drive to the village of Njegusi, a spectacular mountain road along the Lovcen National Park following. Here expects us a typcial lunch with the famous raw ham, cheese, olives and tomatoes.
