Travel itinerary

1. Day: Arrival in Montenegro

After landing in Tivat/Dubrovnik/Podgorica we go towards to Budva. On the way we visit the medieval city of Kotor, UNESCO World Heritage site. We see highlights such as the Cathedral of St. Tripun, the churches of St. Anna and St. Maria, the princely Palace and the theatre Napoleon. Then journey to Budva, where we take a small city walk. Dinner and overnight in Budva.

2. Day: Dubrovnik - Ston - Neum

In the morning trip to Dubrovnik. Guided Tour with highlights such as the monastery of Frankos, the oldest pharmacy in Europe, the Royal Castle and the Cathedral. Then journey to Ston, known for its charming architecture. Finally, we reach Neum, the only coastal town of Bosnia and Hercegovina. Dinner and overnight in Neum.

3. Day: Neum - Mostar - Sarajevo

After breakfast we go first to Megjugorje, the well-known place of pilgrimage. After visit of the Holy places we go to Mostar, with its famous bridge. We continue to the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, dinner and overnight.

4. Day: Sarajevo - Jajce - Banja Luka

Today we start with the visit of Sarajevo. We see the old town Basch Carsija, the Begov mosque, the Emperor mosque as well as the Orthodox and Catholic Cathedral. Then trip to Jajce. The city's architecture is dominated by the Empire of Austria and the Ottomans. We make a small tour to the well-known Pliva waterfalls and to the place of pilgrimage Podmilacje. Then journey to Banja Luka, dinner and overnight.

5. Day: Banja Luka - Gjakovo - Osjiek - Vukovar - Belgrade

In the morning sightseeing tour of Banja Luka. Unique monuments such as the Orthodox Church of the Redeemer with the Golden domes await us. On our way to Belgrade we stop in Osijek, a small town with a delightful Baroque architecture. We see the Cathedral of Đakovo as well as the city of Vukovar, where evidence of the Yugoslavia war await us. In the evening we reach our hotel in Belgrade, dinner and overnight stay.

6. Day: Belgrade - Dedinje

First visit of the capital of Serbia with the Kalemegdan fortress, Republic square, the theater or the knez Mihajlova Street with the Parliament and of course the Cathedral. In the afternoon we take a trip to Dedinje, the noble district of Belgrade, where are the Royal palaces of Karagorgevic dynasty. Dinner and overnight stay in Belgrade.

7. Day: Belgrade - Sremski Karlovac - Novi Sad - Belgrade

Excursion to Sremski Karlovac, where we visit the old patriarch church. Then we visit the fortress Petrovar in the city of Novi Sad, with a unique panoramic view over the Danube. Then visit of the Novo Hopovo monastery from the 16th century. Then cruise on Danube and Sava (duration 2 hours). Evening optional excursions "Belgrade at night". Dinner at a typical restaurant with music in the quarter Skadarlija. Accommodation in Belgrade.

8. Day: Belgrade - Departure
