Travel itinerary

1. Day: Thessaloniki

Flight to Thessaloniki. After landing we will go on an extensive city tour. Dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki

2. Day: Thessaloniki – Pella - Meteora

In the morning drive to Pella, the birthplace and residence of Alexander the Great. Afterwards we continue to the world-famous Meteora monasteries. A unique mixture of nature and architecture awaits us. Dinner and overnight in the Kalampaka area.

3. Day: Kalampaka - Ohrid

We leave Greece and drive to Macedonia, to the UNESCO city of Ohrid. An enchanting short boat trip takes us to the church of St. John. From here we walk to the Fortress of King Samuel, we will also see many of the approximately 365 churches. Dinner and overnight in Ohrid.

4. Day: Ohrid – Mavrovo – Skopje

We leave Ohrid and drive northwards first to Mavrovo National Park. In Tetovo we see the "colorful" mosque before we reach the Macedonian capital Skopje. Here a typical Macedonian dinner with music awaits us. Overnight in Skopje.

5. Day: Skopje

In the morning sightseeing of the city of Skopje. We see modern Skopje as well as the old town with the Kale Fortress. In the afternoon we experience a unique natural landscape in the Matka Canyon, near Skopje. Dinner and overnight in Skopje.

6. Day: Skopje - Departure

Depending on flight time and departure airport (Skopje, Thessaloniki or Sofia) transfer to the airport. Individually depending on the flight time, you can add a sightseeing tour on this day.
