Tour itinerary

1. Day: Arrival in Belgrade

Arrival to the Serbian border. Short visit of Novi Sad, then continue to our hotel in Belgrade. Dinner and overnight.

2. Day: Belgrade – Nis – Sofia

After breakfast detailed sightseeing of Belgrade with Kalemegdan, St. Sava and Knez Mihailova, then on to Nis (overnight). Then we cross the border to Bulgaria and reach our hotel in Sofia. Dinner and overnight.

3. Day: Sofia – Rila – Bansko

In the morning city tour of Sofia with the Aleksandar Nevsky Cathedral. Then on to Rila Monastery (sightseeing) and the hotel in Bansko. Dinner and overnight.

4. Day: Bansko – Plovdiv

In the morning drive through the unique mountain world of the Rhodopes to Plovdiv. On the way we visit the famous Batschkovo Monastery. City walk in Plovdiv, afterwards moving into the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

5. Day: Plovdiv – Nessebar – Varna

In the morning drive to the Black Sea coast. Sightseeing of the UNESCO city of Nessebar, then on to Varna (sightseeing) and moving into the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

6. Day: Varna – Veliko Tarnovo – Arbanassi – Ruse

Drive from Varna to Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi (each with sightseeing), then on to Ruse, the largest Bulgarian city on the Danube river. On the way we visit the rock monastery Ivanovo. Hotel in Ruse. Dinner and overnight.

7. Day: Ruse – Bucharest – Sibiu

In the morning we cross the border to Romania. Here our guide is already waiting for us and we continue to the capital Bucharest. Extensive sightseeing, afterwards further to Sibiu. Hotel in Sibiu. Dinner and overnight.

8. Day: Sibiu – Szeged

In the morning detailed sightseeing of Sibiu, then via Arad to the Hungarian border and to our hotel in Szeged. Dinner and overnight.
